1st day. New Job.

Tomorrow I start my first day in the Corporate Center in Laurens! No longer do I have to drive to Spartanburg every morning!! I have made some really GREAT friends and met lots of wonderful people over the past few months in Sparkle City. I definitely will miss them- just not the drive! Wish me luck!! This is going to be a very different position but I'm very excited for a change!!

On November 19, Kayla and I went to see the first showing of *NEW MOON*! We got to the theatre around 9 pm and the movie started at 12!! (Yes, we waited that long in the theatre but at least we got good seats!) It was packed out with wanna-be Edwards, teenie-boppers, moms, and cool folks like us!! (hahahahah) It was a really good movie for those fellow Twilight fanatics!! Although Jacob was definitely the one with the hot body, we are still *Team Edward*!!

USC finally dominated their biggest rivalry Saturday, November 28, 2009 at Williams Brice stadium. It was a well deserved win for the gamecocks!! They played an awesome game!! I'm SO glad we don't have to hear a peep from Clemson fans for at least another year!!

Happy Thanksgiving Week!

Adam's first trip to Charleston

Last weekend, Caroline & I took Adam to Charleston for a quick trip to visit Annie, Jordan, and Izzie!! Adam was an angel for most of the trip down. I think we've decided he's scared of the dark. He rode in the back seat (obviously) and when he woke up around Orangeburg, he got a little fussy. Caroline got in the back seat and we rode a little ways with the light on which seemed to help soothe him!! (what mommies & aunties do for their babies). We got into town around 9:30 and visited then hit the sack...

Saturday morning, Caroline and I got to babysit Izzie while Jordan and Annie got the H1N1 shots... Izzie was so sweet!! Adam feel in love! ;) (It's an arranged marriage).

It was adorable!!

Saturday afternoon, Caroline and I took Adam around Charleston. We visited the Citadel campus so Adam could make Papa ReRe proud with his first bulldog shirt and bib!! Then we had lunch on Shem Creek at Red's!

Saturday night we took the babies and all of us went to dinner at the new Wild Wings. We met up with some of Jordan's new co-workers and had a really good time. Both Izzie and Adam were angels all night!! I got to see my good friend, Adam, which was another plus! Sunday, I drove Caroline and Adam to meet mama in Orangeburg. I came back on to Charleston for another night due to an appointment Monday. Sunday night I got really sick and woke up still feeling icky. My doctor told me to stay at home since I had flu-like symptoms. (It was my rheumatologist). I had to force myself out of bed and drive home. It was AWFUL driving feeling so bad!! Mom took my temp when I got home and sure enough I had a fever and didn't go to work Tuesday... At least we had a good trip together as sisters!! (and no one else got sick!!)

Adam's been up at the studio nightly with all of us helping keep a smile on our faces while we all work... Hope they bring a smile to your's too!!

My brother-in-law, Brian Parrish, is opening a photography studio very soon!! It's located at 214 B. Fleming Street, Laurens (in the shopping center above McDonald's and beside Horton Pool & Stove). We are all in the process of doing renovations and decorating it. Hopefully he'll be up and running within a week or so. He needs business so please tell your friends, family, co-workers, and everyone else you know about the studio. He has the best prices around town and is willing to travel or set up sessions at the studio. He does weddings, maternity/baby photos, model shoots/head-shots, family pictures, and all holiday photos!! Schedule an appointment or walk right on in and get those Christmas card pictures made!! Christmas is right around the corner!!!

6 months ago...

Our lil peanut is SIX MONTHS OLD today!! I can't believe it!! He's growing so fast and I wish I could just freeze him in time for a little while. He's so much fun... So much has gone on these past six months. Today I was actually thinking about what a crazy year this has been for my family... Adam is definitely the best thing that has happened to us. I don't know where our family would be without our little bundle of joy!!
